How are students placed in the various class levels?

We take great pride in class placement for each individual student. Class placement is unique to each student, and involves a variety of factors, such as:

• Individual Maturity Level
• Focus
• Technical Abilities and Potential
• Personal Attitude
• Work Ethic

If you are new to CC Dance Studio, Director Christen Driskell will assist in placing your child into an appropriate level class. Class Placement may be adjusted during the first three weeks of a new season, depending on need. Contact Ms. Driskell for more information.

Do I pay for tuition for September-May or June? (since the recital is in June)

You will pay tuition for 9 months, September through May. We will start classes the last week of August and end the second week of June, but because of the few holidays that occur throughout the schedule, we will gladly give you the weeks in August and June.

I am considering CC Dance Studio. Can I try a free class?

Absolutely, in fact we encourage you to do so. At CC Dance Studio we offer FREE trial classes in each form of performing arts. Let the front desk know that you are coming in to try a class. We know that choosing a dance school can be daunting, but we are very proud of our programs, so we encourage you to come in to experience the professional difference yourself.

Is there anything special I need to know about dance classes for my pre-schooler?

Our purpose is to provide the highest-quality preschool education in a secure, nurturing, and stimulating environment. CC Dance Studio serves the physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of the pre-school students. We meet these goals with our age-appropriate curriculum and ongoing communication with parents.

The first few weeks of classes serve as an introductory phase to help students become comfortable with the overall dance experience, the classroom, their teacher, and their classmates, as well as awareness and developing imagination. We accomplish this through age-appropriate music and songs, simple stretching exercises, ballet and tumbling basics, and games in an environment of creativity. Pre-school dance is about helping children learn to tap into their imaginations and express themselves creatively, and not necessarily about learning steps (although they do get introduced to some basic steps).

I have questions or need assistance. How do I contact your customer service?

During operating hours, we have an office administrator available to answer your questions and direct you in the right path. This is an effort to provide you with the best customer service available. We have a fully functional website providing information as well as email and voicemail that is answered in a timely manner. You will get to know Mrs. Theda, the office worker and Mrs. Christen’s mother as the year goes on and she will feel like family to you and your dancer.

Is my registration fee refundable after I have signed my registration forms?

Unfortunatly you registration fee isn't refundable. We base our teacher/assistant ration off the number of regitration forms we have turned in before the start date and would have to still pay the assistant for the classes they have attended.
